How link-building-chile.com collects, uses, stores, and shares personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains how link-building-chile.com ("we", "us", "our") processes personal data when you visit this website, submit the contact form, or email us. We operate from Chile and process enquiry data in connection with our link building services.
Last updated: 13 September 2026.
Who is responsible
The controller of personal data collected through this website is the operator of link-building-chile.com. You can contact us at fabi@site-media.co.uk. Postal address: Av. Nueva Providencia 2155, Oficina 604, Providencia, Santiago, Región Metropolitana, Chile.
Chilean data protection framework
We process personal data in line with Chilean rules on the protection of private life and personal data, including Law No. 19.628 and the reforms introduced by Law No. 21.719 (which strengthens rights, obligations, and oversight for personal data processing in Chile). Where those rules require a lawful basis, transparency, security, and respect for data subject rights, we apply those principles to the data described below.
Data we collect
Information you submit
When you use the contact form or email us, we may process:
- Name
- Email address
- Company name
- Website URL
- Message content and any criteria you share about a campaign
- Your consent record for form submissions
Technical and usage data
Like most websites, our hosting provider may process standard server logs such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps. These logs are used for security, debugging, and reliable delivery of the site.
Why we process data
- To respond to enquiries and provide information about our services
- To prepare sample prospect lists and campaign discussions you request
- To keep records of business communications
- To secure the website and prevent spam or abuse
- To meet legal obligations that apply to us
Formspree as a processor
Contact form submissions are sent to Formspree (Formspree, Inc.), which acts as a processor on our behalf to receive, store, and relay form messages to us. The endpoint used by this site is configured centrally in our site settings. Formspree processes the fields you submit so we can read and reply to your message. Formspree's own privacy documentation describes how they secure and handle form data. We do not use the form to run unrelated marketing lists without a separate, clear request from you.
Cookies and analytics
This marketing site does not currently load third-party advertising cookies or a separate analytics tag beyond what our host may use to operate and protect the service. If we introduce analytics or non-essential cookies later, we will update this policy and, where required, obtain appropriate consent.
Essential cookies or local storage may be used by the browser or host for security and basic site function.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only when needed for the purposes above:
- Formspree, to deliver contact form messages
- Hosting and email infrastructure providers that process data on our instructions
- Professional advisors or authorities when required by law
We do not sell your personal data. If a campaign later involves publishers or subcontractors, we share only what is required to deliver the work you asked for.
International transfers
Some processors (including Formspree and certain hosting or email tools) may store or access data outside Chile. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate contractual and security arrangements with those providers and limit the data to what is needed to run the website and respond to you.
Retention
Enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable business record period afterward (typically up to 24 months for inactive sales enquiries, unless a longer period is required for an active contract, dispute, or legal duty). Server logs are retained according to our host's standard rotation, usually for a shorter operational window.
Your rights
Subject to Chilean law, you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion or blocking where appropriate, information about how your data has been used, and opposition to processing in cases the law allows. You may also withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
To exercise these rights, email fabi@site-media.co.uk with enough detail for us to verify and respond. We may ask for limited additional information to confirm your identity.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No online transmission is perfectly secure, so we encourage you to avoid sending unnecessary sensitive data through the contact form.
Children
Our services are aimed at business clients. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you should review the revised text.
